Not only has it been given to us as a gift, but they have treated us like valued clients, they have immersed themselves in the ethos of what we’re trying to achieve and they have inspired us with their energy, creativity, attention to detail, patience and thoughtfulness. Forgot to introduce myself. I’m Sue Tomlinson, Project Co-ordinator for Acting on Impulse. I’m married to David, you’ll see our photos on the website Core Team, and our best production so far has been Lauren, who we’re still trying to catch up with! When Lauren founded AOI in 2007, little did we know what an amazing journey we were about to embark on. We’ve learnt so much. About homelessness. Valuing people. Working with people. Being fearless. Learning new skills. Making films. Admin. Fund-raising etc etc.
In time, we hope this blog will feature our actors. They write poems, they have their own take on life. For my part, I’ll keep you up to date with latest events. In the next blog I’ll tell you about our workshops.
