It was with delight that we were able to meet and have a BBQ together this summer. It’s been 2 years since we’ve been able to hold our summer BBQ. The typical British summer weather did not dampen our spirits. Conversations flowed while the sausages sizzled and salads were served with a now obligatory side of hand sanitiser. Despite having not seen each other for over a year, there was barely a pause, we had lots to catch up on! The actors, volunteers and trustees thoroughly enjoyed rekindling friendships and starting new ones. Leaving full of lovely food, with a renewed enthusiasm for the future.
We also celebrated Peter’s recent graduation from Salford University with a First class honours degree in Media and Performance – a fantastic achievement, many Congratulations Peter! We look forward to seeing where this takes you next, well done! After the uncertainty of the last 18 months or so, everyone at Acting on Impulse is very much looking forward to getting back to what we love, with exciting projects and new collaborators on the horizon.
